Shops
Shops in France normally open at 9:00 am or 10:00 am and close between
7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Some close for lunch. They are typically open from
Tuesday to Saturday (except public holidays). Most shops are closed
on Sunday with many closed on Monday as well.
Restaurants
Breakfast is usually served in cafés between 7:00 am and 9:00am,
and typically consists in a hot drink, croissants or bread, jam
and butter.
Lunch is usually served between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm.
Dinner is served between 6:00 or 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Restaurants are typically closed between lunch and dinner and
it may be difficult to find a meal between these hours so please
plan accordingly.
Large supermarkets are open throughout the day and typically until 9:00 pm or 10:00 pm
